Continued Professional Development
In addition to internal training programmes, the Talbot Group is committed to the continuous development of employees, at all levels, including those who progress into management or supervisory roles, through external training programmes and further education.
Nursing and Allied Health Professionals (regulated professions) are facilitated and, where appropriate, supported in the maintenance of Professional Portfolios through additional external training, conference attendance etc. Health and Social Care Professionals are provided the opportunity for career advancement through promotional outlets. In addition a comprehensive training needs analysis is completed annually, and informed by annual performance development plans and service objectives.
External training is facilitated at all levels to enable staff fulfill their career aspirations.
